Maria Shepard-Smith is a Life Coach who specializes in coaching women who are in transition.  Maria’s unique approach will help you to break through the countless questions and the dreaded self-doubt assailing you while trying to navigate life and /or career transitions.  In addition to being a Certified Job and Career Transition Coach and a Certified Life Coach, Maria’s varied career experience and her own life transitions have provided her a solid base from which to draw upon while coaching clients to get unstuck and move forward. 

Maria uses a common sense approach to help you identify what is the standing the way of “action” - asking powerful questions to get at the ‘real’ reason for indecision - then assisting you to come up with solutions, and to design and implement a plan of action to move you forward. 

Maria’s varied experience includes 10 years as a partner with Pinnacle Career Resources, where she designed and developed Career Management and Job Search Programs. Maria also spent 10 years working with various county agencies and local colleges designing job training programs and providing provide Job Search coaching & training. Maria’s early career experience was as an Operations Analyst with various banking firms on Wall Street in New York, City. Maria holds a degree in Industrial Psychology from Bernard Baurch College, City University of New York.

Cindy’s passion for helping others and the mission of PEC is why she is part of our coaching consortium.  She brings over 7 years’ experience in helping women move forward with their careers and specializes in developing successful strategic job search plans. Her high energy style and personal approach allow clients to feel at ease and connects job seekers to the resources and they need. Her no-nonsense approach leads clients through the job market maze with a supportive motivator at their side.
