Strong communities are built by caring individuals who give of their time and talents to help their neighbors and make a difference. Pinnacle Empowerment Center welcomes volunteers! The contribution of TIME is just as important as a monetary contribution!
We have a variety of opportunities from long-term positions to short range, project specific needs. PEC is committed to providing volunteers with training and support so you feel comfortable, respected, and appreciated!
Social Media Maven- We are in need of someone to help us maintain an active presence within social media including Facebook, LinkedIn, and our blog.
Marketing Maven – PEC needs to get the word out to the community about who we are, what we do, and who we serve. We need a profile to attract clients and donors. We are in need of someone who can manage our information to the media to help spread the word!
Calendar Maven – We need someone to ensure our events are listed on the community calendars including the various Patch sites, Columbia Flyer, Maryland Gazette, 50+, and distribute flyers to local libraries and community centers.
Data Entry Maven – Do you have a flair for spreadsheets and data? Help us track our successes by helping us with entering data, developing collection and analysis tools, and entering the data so we can understand and communicate our progress.
Internet Researcher – PEC’s goal is to have a diversified revenue stream to support the work of our organization. We need someone to spend time researching potential funding sources and providing an overview of the opportunity and its timelines so we can plan accordingly.
Networker – finds ways to bring people with an interest in PEC together for networking and education about our work in the community. Help us identify companies and community groups who would find us interesting and help bring us together by facilitating the introduction!
PEC respects the privacy of our clients and our volunteers! We will ask you to sign a confidentiality agreement and in some cases, a conflict of interest disclosure. If you would like to see those policies, please contact the office at 410-782-3004 or via email at: info@empowerctr.org
I would recommend the Pinnacle Empowerment Center to clients because they take a holistic approach when working with women facing a challenge. They take a personal approach when working with women by helping them see their challenge as opportunity to not only change their career or personal situation, but to elevate their lives on all levels.

I attended the Empowerment Circle today for the first time. The group session was wonderful. Maria was an excellent facilitator that provided the women with thought provoking questions and ideas to help us help ourselves in the discovery and solution process of not only obtaining a career of our choice, but empowering and challenging us to be better in all aspects of our lives.
